Asus probe notified me that my processor was overheating. I took the
covers off, and immediately found the cause, The case was not getting
any air circulation because everything was dirty.
That is when things went a little screwy. The power went off,and I
noticed the power supply was hot. After the power came back on my
computer will not power up.
The LED on the MB is on, but when you push the start switch nothing
happens. no fans,no hard drives spinning.......nothing.
Could the power supply have burnt out? If so, how do I test it?

Could be, but check that the power switch cable is still attached to mobo
after cleaning.

It could.

But, have you retried it after a few minute delay, so that the
