I have found two absolute fun types of gameplay andherethey are:
1. Play on lookout (you knowthat level your probably fell to your death a
million times). Make magnums yourstarting weapon and make bruteshots as
map weapons(make sure that only magnums and bruteshots are the only
weapons used in this place). Make make it any type of battle (slayer,
ctf,etc...) and good times will be rolling.
2. Play on midship. Make game type King Of The Hill. Make starting weapons
energy swords and make it so that there are no weapons on the map. The
Hill will always stay where the shotgun should be. Basically you jumpdown,
do a one hit kill, then die by someone's blade, then you respawn, and it
happens allover again. Basically a 2:00 hill time turns into 45 mns if you
play up to 16 players.

Now go play Halo2 I ORDER YOU!!

To all those that believe...

We did a game of swords only slayer on Lockout with an agreement that there
would be no killing outside the center square. By the time we were finished
that whole square was covered in swords.

My favorite Scenarios are:

1. Shotguns only on Midship. I have it named "Shotgun Specialty"
2. Rockets only in Beaver Creek, which I named "EAT IT"
3. Set your lives per round to 1, turn off energy shields and set the teams
to auto balance. This will make your game play like rainbow six. You only
live once, and if there are more people on one team than the other, only the
number of people as on the smallest team will be able to play at once. This
is pretty fun.

I used to love to play zombies, or dawn of the dead, whatever you call it:

-this is a team slayer game, with infinite kills to win.
-two teams: red are human, green are zombies. start with one zombie, the
rest human.
-zombies can only use swords. no grenades or vehicles, either.
-humans use anything besides swords.
-if you're beat down by a zombie, you must change to the green team.
-turn off friendly fire.
-shotguns/pistols only.
-no shields.

I think this is the way most people play it. the way to win is to be the
last human left.

Some possible changes: you could make it humans against zombies, with the
humans winning if they get x number of kills or last x amount of time; the
zombies win if everyone becomes a zombie before the humans win.

Jeremey Nofzinger squeezed out a good one with:

I love playing that! Midship battles in general tend to be frantic,
but with shotguns only, you get epic fights in the center of the
map...it's exhilarating.
