Hi
Premier Computer ( http://www.pccanada.com/inventory.asp?cat=CPUS ) has AMD
cpu's listed and some have "[ BVBOX ] retail box" or "[CDBOX ] retail box"
in the description.
Does anyone know what this is referring too?
Thanks
Ken'

If you select dual core for the processor type, you'll see
the "BV" and "CD" on the end of the OPN order number. It
seems to correlate with cache size. You'll notice the
P.R. rating difference is 200MHz for the extra 512KB of
cache, and some applications will make better use of that
cache than others. Perhaps you could consult some of the
private (overclocker) forums, to get an idea of which
model is the "sweet" one.
