If you have the newest version of firefox [v1.5.0.1] then you already know that spellbound [the spell checker used before] no longer works with fire fox. The version of spellbound below will work with the new version of fire fox.

When you click on the link below it should try to install automatically.

You must first enable JavaScript for your browser in order to install
SpellBound from this page.

who would ever have thought that I would be posting links for firefox.

After several attempts to successfully get fire Firefox to load and work correctly I have finally succeeded and I am very very happy with the browser.

Good post! :trophy:

My first couple tries with firefox were failures too. It was a terrible browser in the begining.

I stuck with IE for a long time simply because I'm a lazy bastard. Switched about two years back.

It might not be the best browser, it was at the time, and has some annoying bugs, but I'm now too lazy to care anyway. Plus, what would I do without adblock and spell check and all the other little plugins that make life so much easier.

Begs the question of whether or not we'll go back to IE7... best thing Firefox did was prompt Microsoft to suddenly come out and update IE. Problem I have with Firefox now is that its growing popularity is making it a target for nefarious types. It's funny, back in the IE5 days they used to say "We attack IE because it's evil Microsoft, they don't patch it" etc etc etc, and then when Mozilla, seemingly the answer to their dreams, comes along they go for it. Twats.

Shut up, security by obscurity is never a good idea. If you want a really secure browser, just grab the pages, view the source code and render them in your head. Takes a little practice, but very secure.

That reply deserves a 5 LOL rating.

Too funny!

And Aron, if you want a obscure browser then try K-melon. That is the idea I had when I tried it out.

Reply to russell

I installed it & like it!!!!!! It pretty sweet no doubt!!!

Reply to RCPilot

I keep getting stuck at the Javascript code!

Reply to Ned_Flanders

Do you dream about Kmelon? If think you might be a little obsessed by it

Reply to Ned_Flanders

No, not even. The only reason I messed with it was because I never could get fire fox to install correctly.

Now that fire fox is working just fine I'm no longer interested in K-Melon, except I might tinker with it just for the sake of tinkering.

Both R. C. and Jake can attest to the problems that I had trying to get the earlier versions of FireFox loaded and working correctly for me. Had I not already been there it would have Driven me crazy.
