will a v9980 ultra video card work on a a8v MB ????????

Your 9980 appears to have both 1.5V and 3.3V slots. It's a universal card,
and will work fine in an A8V.

(The card pictured in the latest downloadable version of the manual, 1878,
is a universal card.)
