I recently encountered a problem, turned on my computer
and the floppy drive can not be accessed. Device manaber
lists it with a yellow exclamation mark next to it. Under
properties it reads, Windows has successfully installed
the driver for this device fut the device cannot be
found. (error 41) Can someone help me get my A: drive
back. Thanks.

Try right clicking on it, uninstalling it, then reboot and see if that
fixes the problem.

I don't know if anyone will get this but the same thing happened to me. I
restarted my computer and my floppy drive was gone. I went to help and
support and ended up getting help. The guy had me go into my hardware
profiles and delete stuff, reboot and it still didn't work. Then he told me
to go into safe mode under instructions that are made for Windows 9x. So
today I went onlie to search for how to go into safe mode under XP home
edition. After that I was going to get more help from Microsoft only to be
blocked from help ans support because of my number of usages under my product
number. See, I try to be patient with this program but everything that I'm
going through with Windows is pushing me more towards using a Mac.
