ML-1710 laser card stock feed

Anyone had any luck feeding index cards thru the main feed ?
Looks like they fit but I red light before the printer actually moves
them and am curious if anyone has developed a workaround as feeding the
cards one-by-one thru manual feed is a pain.

I realize laser 8X10 sheets of cards can be purchased but it runs to a
lot of $$$ !
