I'm off for a weekend of Staropramen fun. See you all Monday or Tuesday. If Stella is available then I'll be faithful.

You bastard!

Actually I've never been there. Let me know how it goes.

I found two places that sell Stella around here. $4.50 a bottle.

Reply to Riser

Stella isn't very good out here.

Reply to dhlucke

I drank two PBRs last night. I swear it tastes better than Bud Light and just as good as Miller Lite.

Reply to Riser

I wouldn't drink any of those unless I lived in a trailer park and had only 1 tooth.

Reply to dhlucke

That's Colt 45, MadDog, or Budweiser.

I drink Labatt. It's the best option available to me. That or cheap mexican beers.

Reply to Riser

Mexican beer is better than all those.

If I was you I simply wouldn't drink.

Reply to dhlucke

miller lite is not a good beer...

Reply to mrface

have a great time hun.....post lots of pics....

Reply to qoop

Corona is the shit beer of all shitty mexican beers. I don't mind it though. haha

I guess I should switch back to Heineken..

If I get the chance I drink Fosters.. does that count as a reasonable beer?

Reply to Riser

LOL... careful what you ask for.

Is anyone a fan of Ale's around here? I can't stand pilsners. Tastes like piss mixed with water. The only pilsner I've ever had I enjoy(ed) is Henry Wienhards.

I'm strictly a stout and ale drinker. Redhook makes the best amber ale...
http://www.redhook.com/

And guiness is the best stout of course.

I'll do Pale Ale.. but after a few I'm normally getting sick off the stuff.

Reply to Riser

I was in a pub in London once... I think it was this one:

Anyways, my best friend (who has a very loud voice) asked for a Fosters. I swear to god everyone who was in the pub stopped and looked at him like he was crazy.

He ended up getting something else... I can't remember what, but it wasn't Fosters. LOL.

Reply to CHEEZball

Reply to mrface

well, where do you want hair?

No answers needed.

Reply to Riser

There's many ways to achieve that rather than drinkin that gross stuff :P

Anyway :P Strawberry Beer...that's some good stuff, or stick to the good ol' Dark Ales

(or rye and coke...mmm)

Reply to CHEEZball

just on me head thanks

Reply to CHEEZball

yeah im a fan of all beers from good ones to southpaw light, so idont matter to me.

it really depends on the situation, if i plan on getting drunk or not.

i wont drink thick beers to get drunk only cheap ones, if im trying to relax i might have a guinness or SA cream stout(also with a meal too, so yummy).

Reply to mrface

The first beer should always be the good beer. After that, you can move on to worse beers and save some money.

I figure my first two are good, then rest don't really matter.

Reply to Riser

you ever tried beamish?

Reply to mrface

Never heard of it.

My buddy brews his own beer.. told me the starting costs are about $80.. I might get into that.

Reply to Riser

beamish is probably one of my most favorite stouts.

Reply to mrface

We have a lot of microbreweries around here and I think that kind of keeps out a lot of imports and other domestic beers.

Original buckeye beer, plus so many others that are basically knock offs of others. I go in some places and buy the sampler where you get 8 small beers of all their own brews.. and I admit they're really good. They just want to stay local and not go main stream.

Weinhards is the cheapest decent beer you can get. I've seen it for $8 a 12'er and it's not bad for the private reserve. I haven't had it in a while though. Used to drink it a bunch.

Redhook is ok but it was turning my stomach inside out everytime I drank it so I stopped.

Guiness is a steak beer as far as I'm concerned.

I didn't think they still sold Pabst blue ribbon beer.
My dad used to drink it because it was cheap and he was trying to raise seven kids.

Reply to russell

Damn Russell  How am I supposed to make fun of PBR when you come out and say things like that! :(

Reply to dhlucke

It's true. I can't think of PBR without thinking of dad and all the sacrifices he made while doing a bang up job rising all of us kids.

I know it's El cheap o so bashing it does no harm so far as I'm concerned.

Lucky Bastage!

Hope it was a good one.

If you are going Slovakia then why not drink a traditional Slovak beer like Zlaty Bazant Golden Pheasant Lager?

Not a fcuking chance, I'm not one for taking pics. I think Macca has some of me in various conditions on his phone and that's where the are staying.

Reply to Tom_Smart

So I saw Stella on tap at this Irish pub over the weekend. I've only had it in the bottle before though.

The problem is that the bar was completely dead on Sunday at 2pm. We didn't stay there.

I was told everywhere else was selling it but I never saw it anywhere, though I did ask most of the time.

It's ok though. I wouldn't have remembered the taste since I had been drinking from 8pm the night before.

Glad to hear you are a dedicated convert. Remember the price is irrelevant, it's the quality that counts.
