Backing up using Iomga 250 Zip Atapi

I just had to replace my hard drive on a Dell 8200.
Opsys is XP Home and I had to reload all XP home and app software.
I downloaded and loaded Iomega backup and IomegaWare software.
I was able to restore lost data from previously used Zip disks.

Now when I want to backup using the Works, I get a message that reads:
"Fatal Error 801, unable to continue
Operating System error: 0
Module: .\mstree.h
Function: MSRSTRING<T>::Unpad
Line: 536"

I have not yet installed SP2

I gladly accept aid from all quarters.
