S.M.A.R.T. ....not working

Hi People,

I just moved my three Samsung SpinPoint disks into a new system based on the
Asus P5RD1 board. All three disks reported S.M.A.R.T. readings in the old
system, but now I'm getting no readings at all.

S.M.A.R.T. is - as far as I can see, enabled in the BIOS, so I'm pretty
clueless here.

Any ideas?

I am running WinXP Professional with whatever driver that comes with. The
disks are SATA, btw.
I ran the same disks on a Shuttle system until last week, and in XP i got
the SMART readings just fine with SpeedFan, for example.
