i have recently purchased a wireless key board and mouse
combo. I have followed the installation instructions but
after i install the drivers, reboot, then plug in the
single usb cord in order to connect my device, it says it
is an unkown device and wont let me updatethe correct
driver. my product is a compaq 27 MHz RF wireless
keyboard and mouse combo, it was purchased fromradio
shack, the model number is 26-762. someone please help an
email would be wonderful

Uninstall the drivers, reboot, plug the device in and let Windows deal
with it, then install the software and see if it updates the drivers
during the install process. Some devices work in this manner even
though that isn't how the directions say to do it.
