    But you cannot install the Sidewinder software. The drivers are
    included in Windows 2000/XP (use the Joystick applet in Control Panel to
    add the Sidewinder auto-detect device). You get the functionality
    provided by the driver. You do not get the button programmability
    afforded by the Sidewinder software, so you'll have to rely on the game
    allowing you to define the buttons according to your likes.
