I cant find a folder on my laptop but i didnt delete it

Hello,
i delete a folder from my recent items, but now i can't find it. i didn't find it in the recycle bin but i can't find it in my documents either. does this mean i accidentally deleted it??

Hit windows-f and search for it.
If needed you can also restore it from a previous version if you right click on my documents and go back to a version before the deletion and copy the deleted folder, then paste it into your current my docs.

Recent items does not actually have the files in there, it's just shortcuts to the files you last used.
