i hav an old sys which runs win95 /w tcp/ip configured but each time i want to do file-sharing via a router /w my other workstation, this old sys always seem to "forget" its network connection & display no connection error. as a result i can never transfer files more than 15 MB over else error will occur...i hav no problem connection to internet vis my nic.

anyone knows of any known issue /w win95, or is this the nic driver problem? thanks

Are you using a static ip address on your win95 machine or is it assigned by a server? It sounds like a driver problem, but sometimes if the gateway/static ip/and wins configuration are not perfect win95 has sustained link problems. I guess if you can share an internet connection then you are using an ip address in the range 192.168.x.x with a subnet 255.255.255.0

If you know your configuration is correct then try to find a better driver, but it is likely not a win95 problem.
