how do I uninstall

im trying to uninstall the service paks 1 & 2 due to them currupting my
dvd/cd rw drive yet windows wont let me get rid of all of it. Any suggestions
would be greatly apreciated

If you have a WinXP CD try a Repair Install. Did you try a System
Restore to before you installed the packs?
