Help Somebody!!

9CJS recognised an P4 prescott 3,2GHz as 2,8GHz Processor. I was able to
update BIOS only with 9cjs0619.bin
file. Tried to update with later BIOS updates and as an result I got "The
program file's BIOS-Lock String does not match with your system!" messages.
There are two KINGSTON KVR400X64C3AK2/1G 512Mb modules and two Maxtor 120GB
HD's in RAID 0.
What is the problem ????

Dont panic the problem is simple

The "press alt/f2" to update bios does not work on all bios`s correctly. You
will have to do it manually by booting from a floppy with the bios and awd
flash on it and when at the a prompt type:-

 "a:\awdflash 9cjs****.bin /NBL /QI /py /sn /r "

Without the quotes of course. And replace **** with the version no which for
vesion 6 is 0225 (check this of course!!!!)

Version 4.0 added prescott ability but you might as well do version 6.0 as
it will include version 4`s fixes etc

What about downloading latest update for INTEL RAID controller? I tried
several times, download was always normaly completed but the file
"Raid_Intel_v4.5.0.6581" was only 5.392 big (instead of 15 MB as shown on
Chaintech download site"
Is it worth trying again or maybe there's another place to look for it?
