HP 842c colour cartridge doesn't work

The cartridge did not work when I got the printer - the black did until
it ran dry. I refilled all (supplier said the ink was formulab source),
the black worked, the colour printed a bit - first from blue, then from
red, now nothing.

All three colours are seeping through the bottom, and leave impressions
on a paper towel, so the holes (or at least some of them) seem to be
working.

A replacement cartridge works ok.

Can I resuscitate that cartridge? I hate to throw things out......
