The Catalyst OpenGL drivers were the problem all along. I reverted to the
Catalyst 3.8 OpenGL .dll (ATIo9xxx.dll) and now everything (incl. COD) works.
Apparently, it is possible to use different ATIo9xxx.dll files for every OpenGL
game (if you copy the ATIo9xxx.dll to the directory w/the games executable).
