If you have not already done so, Dantin, you;ll need to download the latest
Windows 2000 drivers for your card from our website at the following url.
http://www.diamondmm.com/default.a [...] raphics&it em=drivers&product=Viper_II also In order to properly use a Viper II Z200 in
conjunction with an MVP3 or ETEQ chipset, you must do the following:
Ensure that the AGP driver and IRQ routing drivers have been installed
properly before attempting to install the display adapter. All the necessary
motherboard updates can be found in the following file:
http://www.viatech.com/drivers/4IN1409.exe This applies to both the MVP3 and ETEQ chipset (for Super-7 systems) as well
as the Via Apollo chipsets (for Pentium II/II/Celeron or Athlon/Duron

ORIGINAL MESSAGE:
Hi my name is Dantin. Anyway heres my Lay-out.
AMD Model 1 500 MHz Proccessor (Slot A)
128MB Micron PC-133 on a PC-100.
Viper 2 with 32 MB's of Ram IRQ 11 AGP
3Com 905B-TX NIC IRQ 9
SoundBlaster Live X-Gamer IRQ 9
3Com 00569800 56k Winmodem IRQ 9
Creative 52Xmx CD-ROM No IRQ
Standard Floppy
Western Digital HDD 20 GIG
Maxtor HDD 1.6 Gig
235 WATT Powersupply
K7M Rev. 1.04 Motherboard AMD 751 AGP
OS = Windows 2000 Pro with latest Windows Updates.
All drivers are current except 3Com NiC because their stupid install
software isn't NT compatible for some reason. Also the drivers for the
SoundBlaster Live are Microsoft. I manually installed the Viper II drivers
via Device Manager.
Problem: Text Graphics are messed up. When I click to highlight the text
becomes chopped up and can't view the whole graphic for the text.
Resolutions are okay, also I have the current INF file for my Optiquest V55
monitor. When I browse the internet and scroll down the text that was hidden
is corrupted also. Same happens when I scroll up to reveil the hidden text.
I have manually overided the Direct X 8.0a to 75 MHz. Max refresh for my
particular monitor. Also when I click on a icon on the desktop it also
corrupts the font graphic for the text.
I also have the current mini port driver for my Motherboard from AMD. I
have the VIA VT82C686A southbridge on my motherboard also but I don't see
how that could effect my graphics for my fonts. It only controlls the PCI
Super I/O Intergrated peripheral Controller. I have the onboard Yamaha Sound
Disabled. I'm at a loss this video card was working great with Windows 98SE.
AARRGGG.. Thanks for the help in advance.
