Sorry if this has been asked previously, but I couldn't find any prior
posts.
I have used a SanDisk 128MB SD card using my PocketPC Phone Edition
(T-Mobile).
Right after the ROM upgrade, I noted that I my SD card would intermittently
wipe (lose all data). Since I don't store a lot of data on my SD card
(mostly programs), this was frustrating but not irrevocable. Due to
problems with the power on that handheld, I had to replace it through
T-Mobile for a new handset. This new handset didn't appear to have the same
problem initially so I chalked it up to power fluctuations leading to the
wipe.
But, yesterday, on the new handset my SD card wiped immediately after the
soft reset. All data are gone, but the card still works and is readable.
Anyone seen this? Is this a software issue? Hardware? Or does this seem
more in keeping with an SD failure of some sort. If it's a known bug, I'll
just have to upgrade the built-in RAM. Thoughts?

It sounds like a possible faulty SD memory card. Have you tried a different
SD card in your mobile device?
If possible, I would also try that same 128MB SD card in another device such
as another PocketPC device or a memory card reader and perform some file
operation tests on that SD card.
If you determine your SD card to be not 100%, get a replacement if under
warranty.
I've come across a few "iffy" SD cards losing data or whole directories,
etc., and had to have them replaced.
Good luck.
