When I insert an MMC card 128MB(using in Siemens-Handy:SX1) in my card reader
(USB 1.1 6 in 1 Card Reader), which is connected to a USB 2.0-port, my pc
will be suddently rebooted.
What can be reason for this?

First, make sure that the system is not set to reboot automatically at
failure. If the USB device is crashing XP, the default behaviour is to
reboot. Turn this off and you may be able to get an idea of just what is
causing the problems. I don't have an XP machine right here but right
click on My Computer, Properties, Advanced, Startup and Shutdown IIRC is
where the option is.
