I've just been checking out the Kingston site for RAM compatibility with my
K7S5A Pro. It doesn't list the Pro, but it has the K7S5A versions 1.x and
3.x: http://snipurl.com/5qr6 .

It shows the KVR266X64C25/512 as the only compatible 512MB PC2100 DIMM,
which is a CL2.5 module. However, Kingston also make the KVR266X64C2/512
DIMM, and I'm wondering if this CL2 module is compatible with the K7S5A Pro.

If anyone has any ideas then I would be truly thankful.

YES, just about any PC2100 DIMM should work on the K7S5A PRO.

Well, I found (bought) the one that didn't work in the Pro v5.0.
Back to Ebay to sell it to a Dell Dimension 2400 owner..

But with Kingston, their warranty makes it almost a no-brainer to
give it a try. Try the PC3200 or PC2700 as they are downward
compatible and can be moved to another faster board when the time
comes.
