Hey, you and I have almost identical systems. How did you OC your CPU so high? I heard that an Athlon 2500 will OC to 2800 speeds with the stock heatsink. When I change my CPU multiplier to 12.0 I get crazy results, like XP won't load or everything crashes, even after I raise the core voltage a little bit. Also, on my Asus board I can't set the bus speed by 1MHz increments, only by 33MHz increments.. I don't get it.
Well no 2 CPUs are alike. Im also using a mobile barton chip which is the premium desktop chips AMD handpicked which can was designed for energy efficiency in mind, thus allowing it to do the same speeds as the avergae chip but with less voltage required. It can also take more heat so one can make it go faster without a crash/error.
Still I would not push my luck with em so I still put good coolers on them.
