I have a Unknown USB device in Universal Serial Bus controllers, it appears
to be configure ok but was wondering what it's for? when I click on it, it
says no drivers are installed for this device.

Have you installed the chipset (motherboard) drivers yet? The most
likely case is that you have a USB device connected to the computer such
as a USB Printer or maybe Pocket PC or something that XP does not
recognize. You simply need to figure out what the device is and install
the proper drivers for it ;)
