Need help w/ K7VTA3 v.5 onboard RAID

I have an ECS K7VTA3 board with an onboard a Promise Fastrack "Lite"
RAID controller. I've got 2 30gig Maxtors on it in a RAID-0. They
setup fine, and work great for copying to and general windows usage.
But I've been using them for video editing lately (my reason for
setting them up in the first place). When I do--particularly when
using very large video files--after a while any programs accessing the
RAID will lock up, and the RAID drive will just drop offline. I can
sometimes manually close the programs and still use windows, but the
drive is gone. It shows up, but if I try accessing it, it either tells
me it's unavailable, or locks up my machine. I just have to reboot and
its back online, working fine until whatever triggers it to drop out
again. I just flashed my bios with the newest version. But I still am
having problems.
