There are two versions of the 2600+; the Barton core with a FSB of 166
MHz (333 DDR), and the Thoroughbred core with a FSB of 133 MHz (266
DDR).
That particular MB has a maximum FSB speed of 133 MHz (266 DDR).

Must have looked at the wrong version or number. Thanks for the
correction.

According my K7VTA3 v.6 manual, the board supports PC2100 and PC1600 memory
speeds. I'm using PC2100 with Barton core 2500+ (166MHz FSB) and am having
no problem.
