My battery meter has completely disappeared along with
the options for it in the Menus. Windows does not show
that there is a battery attached to my laptop or that
theres even the option. But the lights on the front show
that its charging etc. It runs fine off the battery and
stuff just no windows meter.

So heres what I did.
Did various troubleshooting, removing the battery
restarting putting it back in.

Contacted the maker and did what they told me Delete
something called ACPI Fixed Features this did not fix
it.

What I found was an exclamation Microsoft Composite
Battery. Its suppose to be in Device Manager under
System Devices. When I clicked on it and ran the
troublehooter it told me to delete it and restart. Well
I did that and it did not come back...

So now I have to sit with my laptop plugged in all the
time. Because I dont know how much battery I have..

Tabatha;
Check your manual and/or contact the manufacturer again.
This is a driver issue.
You may have the driver on one of your CD or the manufacturer has the
driver on their website.
