Hardware configuration sonar midi usb

Hello,
My keyboard controller is usb port midi and my sound card which I plug to an usb port to my computer too just has standard midi port. can i plug the keyboard controller to another usb computer port and be able to send midi program to the audio card using Sonar or any other DAW?
