unwated auto install on restart

i am trying install drivers for my graphics card, so i
have to uninstall my old ones first, but ever time i
restart my computer windows xp automatical reinstall the
old driver. i have atuo update turned off.

When updating my AIW Radeon 7500, WinXP always finds some default driver to
install. It's likely finding XP native drivers for your card or onboard
video.

Go to manufacturers website and follow update instructions to the letter.
