L7TVM memory compatibility problem?

Just been given a L7TVM and I can't get to boot.

The Power Supply (230W), Duron 1600, and 2 different GFX (Radeon DDR
VIVO & Radeon 8500LE cards) and Samsung 512meg DDR 2700 333 RAM are
all known good on my other Abit & MSI motherboards but the system will
not boot, the red light comes on inside as does the suspend LED and
all the fans come on but the system will not POST.

If I press the power button again nothing happens but if I hold it in
for 4 seconds the system shuts down.

I have tried clearing the bios but that does no seem to work.

Assuming the Mobo works could this be an incompatibility problem with
the RAM?
