Windows 7 Back Up

I'm doing a Back-up to a BD-R 25GB disk .. In the middle of the process the dog bumped the PC table .. Is the back up disc still usable ? Help ?

Maybe, as its a laser no parts come into contact with each, does your backup software not give you the option of verifying written contenst against the original files.
