PCChips TidalWave W30 / SIS 748 / Second harddisk only in ..

Hi,

I recently switched to a PCChips TidalWave W30 mobo with SIS 748 chipset.

My Setup:

Primary Controller: Samsung SP1213N and DVD-ROM Samsung SD616Q
Secondary Controller: DVDR Plextor PX712A and IBM DTLA 307045 (still
going strong with flashed firmware ;-))

OS is W2K Pro with SP4

All devices are indicated in device manager as DMA, except my 2nd disk
as slave on the 2nd controller ;-((

So did a check with Everest Pro --> UltraDMA Mode 0 (=PIO 4 ?)

Installing SIS busmaster driver gave me a BSOD on reboot (stop fault!) ;-))

So I re-installed the standard sis-ide driver from M$.

Any idea ??
