I am trying to use bt to connect my PC and PDA using ActiveSync. The
Bluetooth driver from Widcomm has identified COM11 for ActiveSync (and I
can't change it), however Connections in ActiveSync only allows COM1 or COM4.

How do I get the two devices talking?

Hi Jonathan,

I'm having the same trouble :
I buy a BT dongle (MSI BToes) and can't sync my iPaq 3979 with my PC: the
Incoming/Outcomming COM ports assigned are resp 27 and 30, and on ActiveSync,
1 or 3.

Now, I found on MS site a compatibility list on
http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/ [...] ompat.mspx

In regard of my PDA, in the "How To", there is mentionned I have to install
a Bluetooth device
(Control Panel) - Printers and other Hardware - Bluetooth Devices.

The Problem is, I don't have any Printers and Other Devices in the Control
Panel !!
(WinXP Pro SP2)

Maybe you're more luky than I am....
