pc reboots when i connect to broadband modem

had to do full reinstall of xp pro on my pc.everything ok
till i connect my broadband modem to pc through usb it
reboots i try to click on blueyonder. Can anyone help me?

What type of computer and modem is this? Have you installed the USB
drivers yet? You may need to find an updated firmware for the Modem
which can probably be obtained by asking BlueYonder (your ISP?) for help
with it. Also, if the modem has ethernet (networking) cable, I would
highly recommend using this instead of USB.

Start up the computer and do not connect the modem.

Open Control Panel - System - Advanced and click on the
Settings button in the Startup and Recovery (bottom) section. In the
Startup and Recovery window click on the checkbox for "automatically
restart" to clear it. Click on Apply and OK as needed to exit.

Now connect your broadband modem and click on blueyonder.
This should produce a "Blue Screen Of Death" STOP error message. The
content of the STOP message, including all of the parameters, will be
a direct clue as to the cause of the problem. Post that information
back here, or contact the support people at Blueyonder with this
information.
