I have the following error message on my CD/DVD ROM
Drives:

Windows cannot start this hardware device because its
configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete
or damaged. (Code 19)

The Drives are:

DVD-16X DVD ROM BDV316
MATSHITA DVD-RAM SW-9571

I have tried unistalling and reinstalling but that didn't
work.
Any ideas how I can fix this ?
thanks

Yes that seems to have fixed the problem, now they are both working and are
Ok under Device Manager properties - many thanks for that.
I had to delete a couple of values in the Registry and then it was ok.
However it seems to be something to do with I Tunes because now I get a
message saying I need to reload I Tunes as the the registry values were
deleted...

Try getting the latest version of ITunes and see if the problem persists.

If the new version of ITunes still exhibits this problem, either dump ITunes
or live with it for now (and how ITunes fixes it in the future). You might
want to notify apple about the issue.
