Since i've allowed SP2 to install itself my scanner cannot be detected.

It's a Packard Bell Diamond 1200 Plus and works fine...checked it on friends
computer.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the software but still the computer cannot
detect it.

Any help please?

Jerry

Jerry;
Go to the scanner manufacturers website and get the latest Windows XP
drivers.
Also if you are having detection problems, COMPLETELY uninstall the
drivers, you may need to check the website and/or contact the
manufacturer for details.
