Well let's simplify things a bit. ECS 755-A2 and PC Chips M870 V2.0
are identical motherboards - exactly the same except for branding and
color scheme. ECS has a more recent BIOS update for this board.
The 755-A2/M870-V2 is a great value segment motherboard with good
performance and moderate overclocking potential.
So that leaves only two other choices; NFORCE3-A and M860.
I would recommend NFORCE3-A over M860, superior chipset and features.

i myself would recomend the kn1 motherboard as it is an nforce 4 ultra
mother board with a pci-e slot it can take 4 gig of 3200 ddr ram has i
think 4 sata ports 2 hdd ide ports plus cd ide port and floppy ide
port i would say a 3d aplication like 3d max would run pretty smoothly
on a pc with that motherboard and decent add on componants plus it
means you can get the best nvidia or ati graphics card you can afford

As he stated, he has an "Athlon 64 2800+ @ 3200+ Socket 754" and
"Sapphire Radeon 9800SE AGP", and he is looking for a new motherboard
for these components.

Wait a year. you got good enough gear as it is. The new gear will not be
that noticable in performance. In a year, you can get a system twice as
fast at half the price. you only get cut buying the bleeding edge.
