Watching tv on laptop

i have just started uni and bought a laptop. i can't get
any decent reception in my room to watch tv even with a
booster. does anyone know what product i can buy that
lets me watch tv on my laptop through the internet, or
anything other than using a normal tv aerial. Please

You don't have cable or satellite television available? I was not aware you
could get television programming over the internet. I don't think the major
networks would appreciate something like that.

You could call your local cable company and have a hookup installed.
