Looking for a multifunction inkjet: scan/print/copy - do not care about fax.

Epinions and Cnet have helped me eliminate Brother mfc7300 (print heads wear out), Canon, Samsung. So it's down to the three in the subj line: xerox 470/490cx, Canon A900, HP OfficeJet v40.

Looking for dependability and overall performance.

Experience? Suggestions?

Have an 3 year HP OfficeJet 520 - use it daily!
Never a problem!
(not a fast printer and ya do eat up ink cartrages @ $32+ a pop)
But most definitely VERY reliable!

Hello!

I'd say the Lexmark X83! It works great plus it has a 48 bit scanner and the HP PSC750 only has a 36 bit scanner. The price for the Lexmark is 200 (us) and the HP is 250 (us). On top of that that HP PSC70 uses the half ink cartage! The 15 has 23ML of ink and the regular HP cartage has 43HM of ink! I hope this helped!!
