fwiw, spotted two new items that could relate to pocketpc use with the
following discoveries;
======
"Headphone volume Booster" P#33-1109 $22 (also at Fry's as "BoosterRoo"
for $30)
This item is about the size of two "C" cells and simply boosts the audio
output of any device to three additional audio jacks. (Powered by two
"AA" cells)
The primary advantage would be to drive external speakers with a
pocketpc for "headphoneless" listening or presentations.... works with
any PC speakers.
======
"FlatPhoto" A tiny 1.3 megapixel digital camera with an SD slot less
than half the thickness of a Canon PowerShot for only $50.
This one had me excited, then really bummed when it proved to be pretty
useless, so I'm posting this so that other's don't have to go through
the same discovery process.
Unfortunately even getting complete pictures was "iffy" and those that
do record are muddy and anything that moves at all is blurred...
The SD slot held forth the possibility of having the ability to view and
transmit images from camera that you could always toss in your pocket
without worrying about it, but the images are stored on the SD card in a
RAW file format that I was unable to decode with any image utilities.
