Anyone have the clue bug for this one???

Installed a DP-300U Print Server on my home network. Hardwired to a DI-614+
Wireless Router. All drivers and firmware have been updated to the latest
versions. Up to 4 PCs on the network at any one time, three of which are
running XP Home, and one PPC.

Here is the problem: regardless of which PC I print from, the print jobs are
painfully slow. The HP LJ 6L will basically print a page, then wait, then
print a page, then wait. For the Canon i860 (on the USB Port), the print
head will spray down a line or two, then wait, then a line or two...
Basically I went from 10's of pages per minute to one or two, regardless if
I am using a parallel port laser printer or USB color inkjet.

I wanted to put the printers on a separate server so I don't have to keep
one PC sharing the printers on 24/7, although I NEVER had print job issues
running that way...

I am suspecting it is some kind of problem between the router and the print
server, but I cannot find any semblence of settings or control functions
that might solve this problem.

Anyone else run into this, and find a solution?

DLink Tech Support has been absolutely worthless. They just quote me the
install manual, which doesn't help any...

TIA
