I am loving windows 7, they actually improved it even more after rc 7100, I am using the pro version, and I have 2 problems, 1: the experience index will not complete, says it has a driver or operating system error or something like that(it's a clean install) , 2: Xpmode is pretty useless thus far, i know i can't run games on it, but i can't run nero 7, my old chessmaster, and a few other programs.
XP mode is a Virtualized environment, and no VM's support hardware acceleration.

Your better off installing XP in a dual boot set up for games and such. In regard to the missing driver, does it give you an error code or the missing driver?

Try to run again WEI. I also had an error but after 2-3 times it seems runs ok.
Also make sure you have the last video drivers.
XPMode is for professinal applications that uses old API (contability programs, medical..etc). That's why it comes whith Windows Professional and Ultimate.
