I'm desperately trying to get my 8K9A3+ to work with hibernating or standby
mode.
Problem: I don't even get the hibernating tab in Windows (2000) power
management. The PC is shown as ACPI-PC in device manager. I tried setting
ACPI to S1(POS)/S3(STR)/S1&S3 in BIOS (newest version 07/10/2003), none of
these options seem to make a difference. Windows repair installation,
complete new installation - nothing would give me the possibility, to
activate hibernating or stand by.

System:
- EPOX 8K9A3+ with Athlon XP2000+
- Abit Siluro FX5200
- Technisat SkyStar 2
- Compex RL2000-Ethernet-Card
- Power supply: Enermax EG365-AX-VE(G)-FMA

Any suggestions?

Best regards
Carsten
