After my first board died, Epox gave me another through RMA. Well this
things acts fine usually with one exception. Any time I try to do some LAN
gaming with it, the game or system will crash.

This leads me to believe either the board is defective, cause I know the
components are good. Or perhaps the ethernet controller is screwing up? It
seems like the system can run a game fine as long as it isn't over the lan.
Does this board have a history of poor ethernet performance?

I have two 8RDA+ boards, which are very similar to the 8RGA. I have never
had any problems with the onboard nics. But you may have gotten a bad one.
You could try a PCI nic in it to make sure.
