Hello Robin,

You didn't say which model m/board you are using.
When you say it won't boot, is this from cold or a restart after a crash?
The PCI devices listing will have been there before but the screen
switched to something else before you could see it.

Did you (in the BIOS) set the 'Reset configuration data' to enabled
since the battery change will have lost the previous settings?
This sets up the ECSD.

Have a look at the capacitors, though. If they are leaking brown
electrolyte or have bulging tops then there's the trouble.

Sounds like there's something wrong with your hard drive. Like it's own
controller is slow to init.
