What is the best IP blocker and encryption software

I could not find a lot of information as to what the best IP blocking software is either free or a cost to use with windows 7. I have looked at peer guardian but a few people mentioned that that they no longer offer updates. What about peer blocker. Any other suggestions? I will be using this primarily for internet search and some P2P programs. Thanks and sorry if this is the wrong category for this.

Also, what is a good encryption program that is free for sending email out of outlook for office 2007, 64 bit pc?

If you plan to use emule or torrent client, then use the ip block list that is updated weekly from http://tinyurl.com/5kq3oq

Truecrypt is an open source version of BeCrypt which is used by many companies for full disc encryption.

What are you trying to block and for who (kids)?

Also, keep in mind that for the encryption of e-mail to work, your recipients must use the same (or a compatible) tool. What are you trying to do, encrypt the messages themselves, or the contents on your system?
