I created a 5 week appointment (I know - I could have made it a task
or put in a calnedar entry for the begin day and end day and
remembered the days in between, but I wanted it showing up on my
calendar every day).
It shows up every day on my calendar on the desktop, but stopped
showing up after a month on the Pocket PC. I created a few test
appointments, & there seems to be a one-month limit on the Pocket PC.
I've tried syncing all appointments to make sure it wasn't an issue
with my setting of only syncing the last 3 months of appointments.
Is this just a Pocket PC feature, or am I missing some obvious
setting?

There is - it's a limit of the OS.
