strange harddrive problem

I have 2 hardrives on windowsxp 20 gb samsung harddrive and 40 gb
seagate.
samsung harddrive works fine under xp but seagate is not getting
detected.

i can see the seagate drive in my bios and it is perfect

what can be problem please help

Right click on My Computer, click Manage, click Disk Management and make
sure you have the second drive set up properly. If the disk doesn't
show up in there, check Device Manager (Start-Run-devmgmt.msc) and make
sure it is in there. If not, I would double check your BIOS settings.
