Since I installed XP service pack 2, my computer will not startup into
XP if I disable power management in the system BIOS. The computer
continuously resets and restarts the computer (XP splash screen is
never seen).

I have several customers and this happens on their pc's also.

Anyone have an idea why this happens?

Thanks,

Mark

Silly question, why disable the BIOS power management?

Depending on the motherboard, there could be specific BIOS updates needed to
be applied in order to have XP behave with that motherboard.

Y.
