i upgraded the nForce drivers to version 4.27 off the nVidia site.
these are newer than what is showing on the gigabyte site for my mobo.
i did not install the nForce update drivers for the Ethernet card b/c
my mobo says the card is the RealTek Gigabit ethernet card and i have
the drivers for that card installed. does the nForce "ethernet"
drivers update and use the RealTek drivers or something else that will
degrade my performance?

hi

dont know but i used nforce 4.23 to my realtek on a ga-7n400 before i
installed realtek's own. i am quite sure that the nforce nic drivers is made
from realtek and not from nvidia, just shipped with the nforce drivers to
all mb's that have 'em.
